The following dates have been added as make up dates for registration/schedule pick up.
Please note: The process is much quicker if you are able to complete EZ registration online before arriving at the school. Please call the registrar at 221-3351 ext 71509 for username and password.
If you are a new student (from out of county/district/state, from private school, transfer from another school, home school, etc.) the new student make up date will be Monday, August 1, 8am-12pm. Please bring all necessary documentation to the school in order to register a new student. These items include the student's most recent report card, birth certificate, social security card, immunization card, parent/guardian id, and two proofs of residence. If a new student misses this make up day, he/she will need to wait until August 12 in order to register.
Returning students or incoming freshmen from our feeder schools: make up day will be Tuesday, August 2, 8am-11am. All incoming 9th graders must provide parent/guardian ID and have two current proofs of residence. Returning students who have moved and changed addresses will need to provide parent ID and two proofs of residence. If you are a returning student and you have not moved, no proofs are needed. Returning/feeder students who miss this day will need to finish the registration process and pick up his/her schedule on the first day of school. No student will be allowed to enter his/her homeroom without completing registration and picking up a schedule. The schedule will be the entry ticket into homeroom.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS about schedule pick up week (July 25-28)
I haven't registered online yet. May I do that on the schedule pick up day?
Yes, computers are available for those who have not yet registered online. However, please understand that registering at the school will extend the time needed to complete the schedule pick up, as the registration is required before the schedule can be picked up. If you are able to register online at home or at the public library before coming to the school, this will help minimize the time you will spend at the school on your scheduled day. Also, the number of computers available is limited, but care will be taken to ensure the process goes as quickly and smoothly as possible.
I will be out of town or unavailable to pick up my schedule during pick up week. May I pick up the schedule another time?
Yes, there will be a make up day - To be announced. If the makeup date is missed, students will also be able to pick up their schedules on the first day of school.
I completed online registration, but I have not been to the school like I have done in the past to show any proofs of residency. May I do that on the schedule pick up day?
If you are a returning student and you have not moved (your address has not changed since last year), then no proofs are needed. This is one way that Mobile County has made registration easier! If you do have a new address, you may bring in the two proofs on the scheduled pick up day to have those documents scanned.
My child attended a school in another state last year. May I come in during the schedule pick up week to enroll?
The stations will be set up to accommodate only the returning students, students from our feeder school, and new students who have already registered with a counselor and the registrar. If you need to enroll a brand new student (from out of county, private school, out of feeder school pattern, or from another high school in the county) then you will need to contact the counselor or registrar to get more information. The registrar can be reached at 221-3351, ext 71509. The counselors can be reached at extensions 71505 and 71506. NEW student registration is held on different dates.
I am picking up schedules for two students in different grade levels. May I pick them up at the same time or do I have to come in on two different days?
Many times, the schedules for the next grade level are not available until the specified day. Our suggestion is to wait until the day of the oldest child has passed and then come in on the day of the younger child in order to pick up both. For example, if you have a sophomore and a senior, do not attempt to pick up the sophomore's schedule early on the senior's day. Instead, wait until the sophomore's day and pick up the senior's schedule late. This way, only one trip is needed. *On the make up day, any grade level and any last name can come anytime 8am-11am.
