Test Retake Policy Students who score below 60% on any test are eligible for one "retake". After the original test, the student will be remediated on the material. The highest score that a student may earn during a retake is 70%.
Class Averages Progress reports (for all classes) will be given to 9th grade students each Monday during 1st block. Any 9th grade student whose class average falls below 60% in a core class will be assigned after school tutoring. The Freshman Academy coordinator will work with parents to create a suitable schedule for remediation. Parents should use STI Home, https://home.sti-k12.com/, to check grades and attendance. Any parent in need of the STI Home pin number for their child should contact the parent organizer, Mrs. Fuller, at 221-3351 x 71536. |
